Jordan Carlson Named GMC Bowler of the Year

Junior Jordan Carlson was named the Greater Miami Conference Athlete of the Year by the coaches at the end of the season. The first team all-selection finished second overall in league standings with a 190.2 average, which was 14.5 points better than last season. Her bowling_ballstrong individual game and leadership helped the Lady Vikings finish fourth in the league standings with a 9-7 mark.

In addition, Carlson finished second in the league with a 468 series high, and fifth in the league with a 257 high score.

The coaches also selected Amanda Atha for second team all-conference honors. Atha finished the 2016 season ranked 20th in the Greater Miami Conference with a 157.2 average. She posted a game-high 208 and series-high 371 during the season.

Both Carlson and Atha advanced to the District Tournament to represent the Princeton Vikings.
